"I once saw a traveller dragging a suitcase along that had lost a wheel, and he was doing it very tough. It was only matter of time before he wore a hole though the case... or another wheel fell off. I resolved that I needed the best, and since I had used Samsonite cases to take my books to school . . . well . . . why not? The treatment that my school case copped and survived was good enough recommendation. I am proud to present my Samsonite at airports because I know it's the best and when far from home one doesn't want a wheel to fall off."

Exceeded my expectations
"Travelled with both Unimax 55cm and 69cm (weight 22kg). Used them on planes, trains and buses and walked with them all over cobblestone paving (Portugal), as well as up and down hills and steps. They survived the trip and still good to go. I think the suspension wheels did the trick. Was worried about the weight and the wheels, but all went smoothly. The brakes worked well on the trains. The 55cm was slightly heavier than normal to start off with."

cracked after first use
"I bought this as a birthday gift to myself. The shell cracked on the first trip. Went to the official Samsonite repair center and they told me it is irreparable. They said it is too bad and nothing could be done. Now I have this broken cracked luggage with me under warranty. I feel helpless and will never recommend this brand to anyone ever again."
