"This is my first zipper and four-wheeled Samsonite check-in luggage. (Our old ones were all Oyster models some lasting more than 30 years). Bought it in UK and was admittedly apprehensive how it would travel the journey from London to the Far East. Arrived unscathed and scratchless in the same condition it was when we saw it in the store."

Exceeded my expectations
"Travelled with both Unimax 55cm and 69cm (weight 22kg). Used them on planes, trains and buses and walked with them all over cobblestone paving (Portugal), as well as up and down hills and steps. They survived the trip and still good to go. I think the suspension wheels did the trick. Was worried about the weight and the wheels, but all went smoothly. The brakes worked well on the trains. The 55cm was slightly heavier than normal to start off with."

cracked after first use
"I bought this as a birthday gift to myself. The shell cracked on the first trip. Went to the official Samsonite repair center and they told me it is irreparable. They said it is too bad and nothing could be done. Now I have this broken cracked luggage with me under warranty. I feel helpless and will never recommend this brand to anyone ever again."

Very disappointing ! Would have rated zero if I can
"I recently bought a C-Lite 81 cm luggage on 8 March 2024 and it was found damaged when I collected my baggage on 11 March 2024 at the airport after I arrived at my destination. I was so shocked because C-Lite is renowned for its impact resistant Curv material, I didn't expect the material would be peeled off and scratched during the very first time flying with me! Peeling off of Curv on first time use is a true disappointment and disgrace to your brand, this has raised doubt among your customers towards your product quality and advertisement too. I have been using S'cure (now renamed as Essens) for many years and it is still in good shape except some minor scratches, not to mention Essens is way cheaper than the C-Lite series! Very disappointed to the brand and the so called impact resistant Curv material."
